Starting in The Awakening, Bonnie openly admits that she yearns to find herself a steady love interest. Well, as it turns out, sometimes what you’re searching for is right in front of you … and, for Bonnie, that something looks like it might be Matt Honeycutt.
We don’t want to give too much away, but if you’ve read Dark Reunion, then you might have noticed their growing chemistry. Most people may think developing a crush on your best friend’s ex-BF would be a bad idea, but we think Matt and Bonnie both deserve to finally have someone special to care about.

We love all the action that takes place with the evil forces of Fell’s Church, however, by L.J. Smith’s fourth book, The Dark Reunion, the “good guys” seem a little fed up with all the excitement. You can’t blame Stefan, Bonnie, Matt, and Meredith for feeling discouraged by all the near-death experiences and losses they’ve endured – all before graduating high school!
With so much battling between good and evil, sometimes it’s difficult to tell which side is winning. Matt and Stefan say the “universe is evil” and talk about how they need to try to fight the good fight—no matter what. But their outlook on the universe sounds kind of negative…

It’s not an L.J. Smith book, but it’s an addictive, haunting story about a girl who can hear other people’s thoughts – which is cool, until one of the voices she overhears admits to wanting her dead. ECHOES was originally a three-book series, but it’s available for the first time as an omnibus that combines all three of the original books into one amazing novel. There’s so much to love about TVD, but one thing that we obviously can’t get enough of is Stefan and Elena’s relationship. We might be a little jealous of what they have, but it’s fun to read about their romance and watch it unfold on the show.
Re-reading the series has gotten us thinking about more than just Stefan and Elena though. There are other characters we’d like to see together. For example, Bonnie and Damon … some would say that they make a great couple on the show.
We already know what happens in the books, but are there any unrequited relationships that you would love to see develop on the show? Give us YOUR thoughts!

It’s no secret that Damon is The Vampire Diaries’ most notorious evil doing vamp. Murderer. Player. Back stabber. Liar. There are SO many reasons we should hate him. Secretly though … we sometimes want him anyways.
Damon’s good looks are certainly one reason that it can be hard to hate him … but his looks alone aren’t enough to make us like this bad boy. His dark humor and ability to not take things too seriously are also attractive qualities, especially in comparison to Stefan’s often more serious moods.
